企画中(?)だった新しいミュージカル「An American Victory」のスタジオキャストレコーデング版。アーロンが歌っているのは16曲目の“Sons of Adventure”1曲のみ。ジョン・オーウェン=ジョーンズやラミン・カリムルーも1曲だけ参加している謎のアルバム。

舞台は1801年。欧州政府が支援する海賊はアメリカの旅客船を標的に残忍な攻撃を繰り返しており、その身代金要求は政府予算全体の20パーセントに達していた。
史実に基づいた『An American Victory』は、渦巻く闘争に巻き込まれたすべての人々の人生と国家の進路を永遠に変える組織的テロに対する大胆な反抗の物語である。

作曲家兼作詞家のブカロは、「我が国の初期にこの戦いに挑んだ人々の状況と苦闘は、今の世でも、当時を生きた人々と同じく力強く共鳴します。彼らのことを知ったら、その物語を伝えずにはいられませんでした」と語っている。

ハミルトンと同時期のトマス・ジェファーソン大統領の時代、欧州政府黙認の海賊船団と戦い、トリポリの戦いに進んだふたりの若者スティーヴン・ディケーターとジェイコブ・グッドマンを軸にした物語（ざっくりすぎるまとめ）。ジェファーソン視点の政治闘争あり、若者たちの海戦ありソードファイトありロマンスあり、差別による冤罪も悲しい別れもある盛りだくさんなミュージカル。ハミルトンのヒットでお蔵入りになったのでしょうか…。

アーロンは誠実で勇敢な若き海軍中尉スティーヴン・ディケーター。“Sons of Adventure”は、敵の海賊の大艦隊が近づく中、スティーヴンが部下たちを奮い立たせる歌です。
欲を言えば、この次のデュエット”Hold Me Once Again”も歌って欲しかった。帰還できる見込みのない作戦の指揮を取るために旅立つスティーヴンが、婚約者にそのことを告げた時の歌。

1802年の海軍将校の制服。左からSurgeon(船医?) 、Captain(大佐)、Lieutenant(大尉)、Purser(パーサー)。アーロンはこういう衣装も似合いそう。
